Rail passengers travelling between Kautenbach and Wiltz will face a reduced timetable from Monday. The National Railway Company (CFL) announced on Sunday evening that only one train per hour will operate on this section of the line until further notice.
The disruption is due to a technical fault with a so-called "engineering structure" along the route, according to CFL.
Normally, two trains run every hour in each direction between Kautenbach and Wiltz. Under the revised schedule, trains will depart Kautenbach at three minutes past the half hour, while trains will leave Wiltz at sixteen minutes past the hour.
CFL stated that maintenance teams are already on site and working to resolve the issue. However, there is currently no estimate for how long repairs will take.
Passengers are advised to consult the CFL website and mobile app for up-to-date timetable information and further details on the adapted schedules.
