Friday's temperatures are forecast to hit 30 degrees, while Saturday and Sunday will see temperatures rising to 35 degrees.
Meteolux published a list of recommendations to avoid heat stroke earlier this week, including the following: Keep your shutters, blinds, and windows shut during the day and air your homes during the night, avoid being outside during the hottest hours of the day (11am to 9pm), cover your head when outside, wear light clothing, limit physical activity, use air conditioning and fans to make your homes and offices more acclimatised, and make sure you stay hydrated.
Other recommendations include: don't take your dogs for walks during the day (a quick pee in the garden/on the corner will do), and do NOT leave them in direct sunlight or vehicles!
