The special 2020 edition of the little bird-shaped whistle has been specially designed to highlight the health crisis and to raise money for charity.
The Corona model, offered by the Ligue HMC, wears a mask and can be purchases online for 15 euros, a third of which will be donated to the Covid-19 foundation.
This year was the first time that the Emaischen has been cancelled, both in Nospelt and Luxembourg, due to the coronavirus pandemic. But the Péckvillecher prevailed in spite of the cancellations, thanks to the "Nouspelter Emaischen ASBL" association, which released four different models for the 2020 celebration.
