Emergency services of Esch and Schifflange were called to the scene and took the injured pedestrian to hospital.
A further accident took place in Differdange's Avenue de la Liberté at 10.30 pm. A vehicle struck a lamp post, resulting in three injured. Emergency services from Pétange and Esch, as well as those from Suessem / Differdange, attended the scene.
