The Gendarmerie Meurthe-et-Moselle announced via Twitter that they seized about 38 kilos of tobacco, which were purchased in Luxembourg and illegally smuggled to France. The tobacco is estimated to be worth €4,600 in the Grand Duchy.
Since the person’s cargo clearly exceeded the legal amount, they were arrested and the tobacco was destroyed.
