A man was found dead in a backyard on Rue de Strasbourg in Luxembourg City's Gare district on Saturday. Following an enquiry, the prosecutor's office confirmed the incident on Sunday morning, adding that an autopsy had been commissioned, even if there was currently no indication of external causes.

Emergency medical personnel had initially been called to the scene because a person was said to be lying on the ground, but they could only pronounce the man dead upon arrival.
