First responders treated the victim at the scene before moving them to a hospital. By the time police arrived, the attackers had already fled the scene. An investigation into the attack has been opened.
Over the course of the night, the police were alerted to two other physical altercations, one in Avenue de la Gare, the other in Rue de Strasbourg.
The police also report that several burglaries took place across the country on Saturday. They occurred in Niederfeulen, Berg, Schouweiler, Moutfort, Wolwelange, and Boulaide. Stolen objects include jewellery, watches, tablets, and cash money. Police further report a bicycle theft in Limpertsberg.
Same as on Friday, officers were also called into action again because of noise complaints. A total of 40 deployments were made between 10.30 p.m. on Saturday and 6.00 a.m. on Sunday.
