A serious road accident occurred on the N24 between Noerdange and Huttange on Tuesday afternoon, leaving one person injured and prompting an air rescue response.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 12.55pm following reports that a car had first scraped a tree before crashing into a second tree.
The Emergency Medical Assistance Team (SAMU) was airlifted to the location to provide medical support.
The road remains closed to traffic. Police are advising motorists to avoid the area.
