According to the police bulletin, the officers went to the building in Rue de Bonnevoie after they had received a call from someone complaining about acts of vandalism.

During their investigation, the policemen discovered a person in the middle of consuming illegal substances with three other individuals inside one of the flats. When the officers asked the four individuals to accompany them to the police station, one of them tried to flee the scene but was stopped by the police in the staircase.

While searching the flat with a sniffer dog, the police did not find any drugs besides those the individuals had been consuming. The suspected dealer was hostile and unwilling to cooperate with the police officers.

The man was arrested on the orders of the public prosecutor's office and was brought to the prison in Schrassig. On Friday, he was presented to the examining magistrate on the suspicion of drug trafficking.

In total, police seized 20 grams of cocaine, a small amount of cannabis, some cash, and a mobile phone.
