On Saturday 6 July, a verbal altercation was reported at 1am between a couple and a stranger at the Open Air festival in Hosingen. The issue seemed to be resolved, according to police.
However, not long after the first altercation, the male of the couple was attacked on the festival grounds by the same aggressor and three other men.
At around 2.15am, the man was again attacked and beaten by the same individual and ten other men outside of the festival's perimeter. A second couple were present for both of these attacks. Police officers intervened to put an end to the brawl.
Later, both couples were victims of yet another attack from the aggressor, this time supported by a number of young men, as they crossed the football ground car park. All four victims were injured in this assault.
Troisvierges police are appealing for witnesses to any of the above instances, requesting that people contact them on 244 87 1000.
