In the end, thirteen drivers were fined for leaving the required routes. Another seven fines were issued for infringements of required break times.

One lorry was not allowed back on the road after officers were done with their checks.

It turned out that many safety standards were neglected, such as, for instance, not securing the load of close to 800 bags of chestnuts.

The lorry was thus prohibited to continue driving and an investigation will decide how the case will be resolved.
