The first police Tesla was introduced last year and has made the headlines on several occasions, notably the instance in which a police Tesla broke down on the side of the motorway earlier this year.

Flat battery: Police Tesla stops trafficThe incident, which caused a suitable amount of entertainment to readers, has since been debunked as the police explained that they had to run down the battery as per typical procedures. Unfortunately, the calculations were off by just two kilometres, which led to the car stopping before it arrived at the garage.
