On Wednesday night, a Bonnevoie resident received a visit from a family member, accompanied by an acquaintance. An argument broke out, resulting in the relative attacking the resident and leaving him with serious facial injuries. The assailant and his companion then left the apartment.
The victim was able to contact emergency services and was taken to hospital for treatment. Police tracked down the attacker and his companion soon after and made arrests. The assailant was brought before an investigating judge on Thursday.
In Rodenbourg, a fight broke out in a café around 10.15pm on Wednesday night after the proprietor asked a party of guests to keep the noise down. The guests retaliated by throwing glassware and punching the owner in the face. They then fled without paying their bill. Police have launched an investigation.
