The individual was found at around 10.20pm on Wednesday night. Several police patrols turned up at the scene to check on him, as he had been reported with cuts on his face and under his arms.
He was taken to hospital for a check, where it was established that there was not an immediate danger to his life. A search for the culprit proved unfruitful, and a police investigation was launched.
