The police have introduced Ligne bleue (Blue Line), a national contact point for general inquiries and non-urgent requests. Announced at a press conference on Thursday morning, the initiative aims to provide citizens with a dedicated channel for non-emergency assistance and information.
The goal is to provide people with a single point of contact and better service, while reducing the workload of other police services. You can now call 244 244 244 to report non-urgent matters to the police.
The service will be available Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 4pm, but you can also submit requests at any time via email or an online form.
Police also reminded the public that emergencies should continue to be reported as usual by calling 113.
