The Grand Ducal police launched an appeal for witnesses, in which it asks anyone with information about the individual to come forward.
Europol explains the series of car thefts are part of a major criminal organisation, one of whose members has been arrested and imprisoned in Luxembourg. Other members of this group are still on the loose.
