The police officer was found guilty of fraud and sentenced to 18 months in prison, suspended for 12 months.

The police officer was fired in 2014 for fraud. Part of his sentence is suspended on the condition that complete psychiatric or psychological treatment for gambling disorder. He is also required to pay back a minimum of €2,000 in damages per month to the victims. S

even plaintiffs were awarded slightly more than €66,000 in damages.

The defendant had been accused of repeatedly attempting to defraud other people between 2009 and 2016. He reportedly owed €260,000 to his creditors.

Man sentenced to 6-month suspended sentence for possession of child pornography

Another defendant was sentenced to a 6-month suspended prison sentence and a €1,000 fine for looking at and possessing child pornography. He reportedly took a USB stick containing 121 images depicting 5 to 16-year-old girls to the prison.
