Police in Belval received reports of a suspicious package near the Rockhal music venue at 10.20am on Monday. The package was described as a box with "unknown contents".

A bomb disposal unit was dispatched to the scene and a security perimeter was put in place. It later transpired that the box was empty. The perimeter was subsequently lifted.
