Police carried out a search for a man in the Bereldange area on Monday afternoon. The public was advised not to pick up anyone by car. The search has since been called off.
According to the police, officers were searching from Monday afternoon into the evening for a man who was on the run in the Bereldange area after allegedly evading a police check. The operation and active search were subsequently stopped, the police said on Monday morning. Investigations into the incident are still ongoing.
