The checks mainly focused on whether drivers were complying with their driving and resting hours, but also whether the vehicles were in order from a technical point of view and the cargo properly secured.

Seven major checks took place in the Grand Duchy, namely on the A6 and A7 motorways as well as on the N5, N6, N7, and N11 national roads. A total of 68 vehicles were checked. Police recorded 62 violations of the driving and resting hours, two violations of cargo securing, and eight other violations, e.g. technical faults.
