Police in Luxembourg once again had to crack down on individuals and businesses who did not comply with health regulations.
Police have reported the following cases of non-compliance with health regulations relating to Covid-19 in recent days:
- On 16 October, officers intervened against the manager of a café in Ettelbruck because those present did not comply with the regulations in force.
- During the night of 16 to 17 October, the police reported that the managers of a restaurant inLuxembourg City did not respect the closing time.
- During the same night from the 16th to the 17th, during a patrol in Rue de la Poste in Luxembourg City, several dozen young people were caught enjoying themselves in loose groups on the street, without keeping a distance from each other or respecting the obligation to wear masks. The police informed the young people of the regulations in force. After about half an hour, the group was dispersed.
- During a football match in Harlingen on 18 October, it was found that some of the spectators present did not comply with sanitary requirements and did not wear masks, despite their proximity to other visitors. A report was drawn up against the organiser.
