On Wednesday evening, police officers stopped a total of 227 drivers between 8 pm and 10.30 pm. All the stopped drivers had to take a breathalyser test even if they had shown no indications of driving under the influence.
The tally of drivers under the influence came in at six. All six drivers were fined, and three had their licences confiscated.
