Post Luxembourg has launched a call for proposals for commemorative stamps to be issued in 2028 and beyond.
The company issues around 30 stamps a year to mark significant events, anniversaries and milestones.
They may honour the anniversary of a prominent individual, an association, an institution, a historic building, or a work of art. Notable national events can also be featured, but only topics of national importance are considered.
With planning for the 2028 programme and subsequent years now under way, Post is inviting municipalities, major cultural institutions, associations, companies, other organisations, and private individuals to send in suggestions.
All eligible proposals will be reviewed by the philatelic committee. The 2028 programme will be unveiled in autumn 2027 at the “Soirée du Timbre” event. Proposals must be submitted by 15 January 2027.
Full details and conditions for submitting proposals are available here.
