Link: Action plan for better air qualityThe plan comes in light of the discovery that prior to 2020, seven distinct violations of emission limits were found across the country. The document thus proposes a number of measures to combat these hot spots, spanning until the year 2024. Transgressions were mostly found near busy roads, including Hersperange, Bascharage, Esch-sur-Alzette, Differdange, Luxembourg City, Remich, and Echternach.
The action plan is up for public review until 13 March 2021.
