Besides the rescue helicopter, first aid responders from the north district, an ambulance from Ettelbruck and firefighters from Ermsdorf, Medernach, Waldbillig and Larochette attended to the scene.
In a further incident, a motorcyclist was injured just before 8pm between Hobscheid and Saeul, injuring the driver.
