The Hesperange bypass has been discussed for well over a decade, now it come a further step forward, with the opinion from the Ministry for the Environment about the different variants that have been proposed. It has been now forwarded to the Ministry for Public Works.
Public consultation can begin after that. According to Ministers Dieschbourg and Bausch, the full report will be available at the Hesperange town hall in mid-January and can then be consulted by residents.
The government council is then expected to decide which variant to adopt. After this, a construction project will be developped and a financing law filed at the Chamber of Deputies.
