One of the two suspects threatened the vendor at knife-point and demanded money while his accomplice remained in the back of the shop.
The salesman, however, refused to comply and put up a fight. The would-be robber consequently dropped his knife and both suspects fled towards the local post office.
Police are still searching for the two suspects.
