The security staff of the shopping centre in Gasperich captured the man and handed him over to the police.
The suspect was also retroactively identified as the culprit behind three other cases of shoplifting in the shopping centre. The man was arrested on the orders of the public prosecutor's office and presented to the examining magistrate.
