Luxembourg CitySecurity staff prevent perfume thefts

Security personnel intervened in two separate perfume thefts at shops in Luxembourg City on Sunday.

Police were called to a shop on Avenue de la Gare in Luxembourg City shortly after 12.30pm on Sunday, following a report of attempted theft. A person had tried to steal perfume, but was stopped by a security guard before they could leave the premises. During a check of the suspect, the stolen perfume was found and secured by police.

Second incident on Kirchberg

A short time later, another theft was reported at a shop on Rue Alphonse Weicker in Kirchberg. On this occasion, an individual had concealed perfume under their jumper and attempted to leave without paying. Security personnel once again intervened, stopping the suspect before they could exit the shop.
