Luxembourg authorities are investigating a series of residential burglaries and vehicle break-ins reported across the country over the past several days.

The Luxembourg police have reported a string of burglaries and vehicle break-ins over the past several days.

In the first incident, a single-family home on Route de Trèves in Niederanven was targeted overnight on Tuesday. Authorities report that the suspect gained entry by smashing a window. The homeowner confronted the intruder, who subsequently fled the scene with a small amount of coins.

Separately, a residential burglary was reported at a flat on Rue Jean-Pierre Michels in Esch-sur-Alzette, where a wallet was stolen.

Vehicle break-ins

Police have also received multiple reports of thefts from vehicles.

In Sanem, a car parked on Rue Emmanuel Servais was broken into on Tuesday night, resulting in the theft of a pair of glasses.

Another incident was reported on Thursday morning on Rue de l’Industrie in Soleuvre, where an unidentified culprit broke into a vehicle and stole several items.
