Two men not only stole items, but also consumed various groceries before eventually passing through the checkout without paying.
Security staff were able to stop both uncooperative individuals and notified the police. During the subsequent check, it turned out that the men did not carry identification and that one of them was armed with a prohibited weapon. Both were then taken to the police station for further proceedings.
At one point, one of the men threatened to injure himself, but officers were able to prevent that from happening. However, the man struggled and defended himself by biting and injuring the officers when they tried to handcuff him. Spitting and insults followed until police managed to place the agitator in a cell.
The prosecutor’s office was informed of the incident and ordered the man’s arrest as a result. He faced an examining magistrate on Sunday evening.
