Between Sunday evening and Monday morning, the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) reported six road accidents across the country, resulting in five people being injured.

The CGDIS reported that shortly before 6.30pm on Sunday, a head-on collision between two cars occurred between Niederfeulen and Heiderscheid, leaving one person injured.

At around 7.30pm, another person was hurt after a car left the road and ended up in a ditch near the Gluck roundabout in Luxembourg City.

In addition, the CGDIS reported that, shortly after 8.15pm, a motorist was injured after crashing into a traffic sign on Rue d’Asselborn in Troisvierges.

An accident also occurred on the A6 motorway between Capellen and Bridel as two vehicles collided, causing one injury.

Another driver was injured on the CR176A between Niederkorn and Lasauvage after hitting a tree.

A final reported accident took place shortly before 11pm on the A31 motorway, though no injuries were reported in that case.
