
Despite some hesitation initially, Météolux have maintained the snow warning for Thursday, and issued a yellow alert for strong winds.
The first snow flurries are expected around 10am on Thursday morning, with 5-8cm forecast to fall across the country. Vigilance is encouraged on the roads.
The wind will pick up around 3pm and gusts of 75km/h to 85km/h are forecast for the rest of the afternoon.
Both alerts are due to be lifted at 8pm and 9pm respectively. No weather alerts have been issued for Friday.
