Today marks the start of an unusually hot week. The southern half of Luxembourg was placed under yellow alert for high-rising temperatures, which are expected to reach around 30°C this afternoon. The yellow alert lasts from 2pm until 8pm.
The yellow alert extends to the whole country on Tuesday from 1pm to 9pm. Temperatures will climb to up to 33°C.
Think Tuesday will be warm? You're in for a surprise as the temperatures will keep climbing from Wednesday to Friday, reaching a scorching 39°C on Thursday afternoon.
Minimal temperatures will also remain relatively high and seldom drop below the 20°C mark.
