According to Post statement, they had enough capacity to maintain current networks.

In terms of calls, a sharp surge of 80% was noted, alongside a 20% rise in texting, and a 30% rise in internet usage. Post reasoned this was due to the increase in people working from home. Numbers revealed a high level of use especially once the government stepped in.

The use of e-mail services also saw increased demand, which might lead to delays in the sending and receiving of e-mails.

Post TV also saw a 30% increase in usage.

However, not only an increasing number of average individuals are falling back on these services, but so do dishonest people, and as such, the last few days, saw a hike in the number of cyber attacks. While Post security teams are set on the task of supervising the situation, they recommend increased vigilance to all individual customers, and offers support to professional customers through its CyberForce service.
