The roadworks are part of the redevelopment of the Strassen interchange and will affect certain routes. The exit towards the N6 for motorists coming from the Cessange interchange will be closed, as well as the exit towards the N6 from motorists coming from Weyler on the A6.
The detour for traffic coming from the Belgian border will have to exit the motorway at the Bridel interchange (S3), follow the CR181 and then access the N6 via Route d'Arlon.
There is also an alternate detour via the Helfenterbruck exchange (S5), which allows motorists to rejoin the A6 to exit via Bridel and follow the first detour.
Traffic in the opposite direction will also have to follow the same detour via Bridel and the CR181.
