In Luxembourg

  • Sodexo and Dussmann, the two largest meal suppliers in Luxembourg have suffered a 50% decline in revenues since the beginning of the outbreak.
  • 9 out of 14 clubs in the BGL Ligue (Luxembourg's senior football division) have called for the cancellation of the season.

In Sunday's international developments

  • Global coronavirus cases stand at 1,807,939 with 110,892 deaths and 415,218 recoveries. You can find more detailed statistics here.
  • With abortion rights suspended in Texas during the lockdown, the US Supreme Court will hear an appeal from abortion campaigners, while more than 10% of the crew on the USS Theodore Rosevelt have tested positive for coronavirus.  
  • North Korea called for stronger measures against the rapidly spreading coronavirus pandemic, while hospital patients in India are suffering amidst the crisis.
  • The death toll in the Grand Est region of France has passed 2,000, as 45 were arrested in lockdown riots in Brussels.
