According to them, a person was "probably" selling drugs near the railway station. Police officers immediately intervened to check the suspect. After a body search, they found 20 balls of cocaine, some cash, and an illegal knife.

The individual was arrested on the orders of the public prosecutor's office and was presented to an examining magistrate on Saturday morning.

Drunk in a meadow

At around 2 am, a driver was pulled over by police in Rue Dante in Luxembourg City because of their erratic driving style. The driver and their two passengers were able to present a valid employment certificate, meaning that they were not in violation of the curfew. However, the driver admitted that they had had a few drinks before taking to the wheel. A subsequent breathalyser test confirmed the driver's statements, and they were fined by police.

At about 10.30 pm on Friday evening, police received reports of a car that appeared to be stuck on a meadow in Kockelscheuer. Once the officers arrived on site, they had the suspicion that the driver might be intoxicated. The latter not only refused to take a breathalyser test at the police station but was uncooperative. The driver had to spend the night in a drunk tank and received a temporary driving ban as well as a fine.

At around midday on Friday, Police also had to deal with a lorry driver on the A7, who had difficulty driving straight. The alcohol test came back positive and the driver had to hand over their driving licence on the spot.
