
The measure was taken after it was discovered that the water from the Niklosbierg reservoir is contaminated with bacteria.
Charles Pauly, the President of the Syndicate for the Distribution of Drinking Water in the Ardennes Region (DEA), told the newspaper Luxemburger Wort that they are doing everything they can to solve the problem.
However, the analyses of the latest water samples are not expected to be available before Monday.
This means that affected residents are still advised to boil the tap water for ten minutes before drinking or using it to wash food.
