In Dalheim, a field caught fire shortly before 5pm, while some undergrowth burned in Drauffelt.
Another field went up in flames in Kaundorf at 9.30, while hay bales proved incendiary in both Gostingen and Übersyren, around 2pm.
The latter required no fewer than four teams of fire fighters to tackle the blaze.
