Pauly first addressed the recent floods, praising the capacity of the dam to withstand the unusual water masses. At the same time, he acknowledged that the region had to deal with less severe rainfall compared other places in the Grand Duchy. Nevertheless, the local camping sites were still flooded.

When asked about the ongoing tourist season, Pauly noted that there are even fewer visitors from abroad than last year, which he links to the weather. The reservation system for the lake beaches works well, he further stated. This year alone, more than 40,000 reservations were made.

Pauly finally appealed to visitors to respect the environment when visiting the Nature Park. He conveyed that a ranger is patrolling the area to make sure that people do not leave any waste behind, for instance. He also noted that there have already been altercations between park officials and visitors.
