Firefighters managed to get the fire under control rather quickly, extinguishing it by the early afternoon.
44 firefighters from six fire brigades were all at the scene, alongside an ambulance from Diekirch. Whilst three houses were affected, there were no injuries. One person was taken to hospital for a check-up but was found to be in good health.
The N10 was closed for the entire afternoon.
