Drink-drivingThree inebriated drivers pulled over by police

RTL Today
Several people lost their driving licences due to drink-driving between Friday evening and Saturday morning.

At around 11pm on Friday, a police patrol was forced to brake sharply in the Windhof roundabout to avoid an accident. A car coming from the direction of Koerich had ignored the patrol’s right of way. The driver had to take a breathalyser test and turned out to be inebriated.

Another driver was pulled over in the Stafelter Tunnel on the N7 at around 11.30pm due to their erratic driving style. The driver turned out to have consumed alcohol as well.

Shortly before 1am, the police pulled over another inebriated driver in Bettembourg.

All drivers had to hand over their driving licences.
