At around 2.30pm on Friday, three cars were involved in a collision on the A3 motorway towards Metz, just before Berchem services. Three people were injured and treated by paramedics from the capital.

Shortly afterwards, a motorcyclist suffered a fall on the N27 between Goebelsmuhle and Lipperscheid, requiring assistance from Bourscheid and Nordstad emergency teams. The Air Rescue helicopter was also dispatched to the scene.

In Kockelscheuer, the CGDIS intervened following a collision between two vehicles on Rue de l'Innovation, although no one was injured.

Elsewhere, fire fighters responded to grass fires on Boulevard Charles de Gaulle in Esch-sur-Alzette, and in Harlange. Again, no injuries were reported.
