The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) were called out at 6.30pm to Rue de Belval in Esch-sur-Alzette, after a car and a cyclist collided. The latter was injured in the accident.
Shortly before midnight, two people were taken into care by the emergency services from Wincrange and Troisvierges,after a road accident on the N18 between Antoniushaff and Lentzweiler.
The local fire brigade had to intervene in a kitchen fire in Schifflange at 7.40pm, which was resolved without injuries.
