A head-on collision that occurred on the N10 on Friday left three people injured near the German border.
According to the police, one of the drivers involved in the accident swerved into the opposite lane and crashed into another vehicle that had two people inside.
All three individuals were left trapped in their vehicles and sustained injuries. They were all admitted to hospital.
It later turned out that the driver who swerved into the opposite lane was inebriated at the time of the accident.
