The accident occurred around 11am on Wednesday morning.
According to the police report, the location of the window was supposed to be changed with the help of a crane and suction cups. However, the window came off the cups soon after being lifted into the air, after which it fell down on a worker and jammed his legs.
The man was liberated by his colleagues at the scene and transported to a hospital with light injuries. Another worker suffered a cut while trying to free his colleague, and a third person was injured when the window pushed him to the ground. Both people also went to a hospital for a check up.
The prosecutor’s office was informed of the incident and the Labour and Mines Inspectorate (ITM) deployed to the scene to open an investigation.
