This statement came as a response to a parliamentary question by DP North MP André Bauler.
A task force for road safety had noticed a high number of accidents on this stretch of road. The camera was used as a last resort to analyse traffic in the area and manoeuvres that might lead to problems, and was active between mid-October and the end of November 2021.
The camera was installed in accordance with all current regulations regarding privacy and personal data.
