Police received reports of a theft aboard a train near Leudelange on Monday afternoon.
According to preliminary information, the incident was preceded by an altercation between the victim and the suspect. The latter then stole the victim’s glasses, backpack, and mobile phone. Authorities believe the two individuals are known to one another.
The victim was taken to hospital for a medical check-up. A search for the suspect was carried out but yielded no results. An investigation has been launched.
