We've got a yellow alert from Meteolux, covering the whole country, as today will be notching but sunshine and scorching heat.

The morning will still be quite cool at 11-16 °C, but come afternoon we'll see temperatures of up to 33 °C throughout the country. The evening isn't looking much cooler, at between 23 and 25 °C/

Traffic checks

The police have announced the following checks for this Tuesday:

Three in the afternoon:

• Rue de Hivange in Kahler;
• Rue Batty Weber in Luxembourg City;
• CR 331 in Wilwerwiltz.

And one in the afternoon:

• Rue de Rodenbourg in Olingen.
